A typical process may include roughly 4–6 weeks for requirements and scoring preparation, 2–4 weeks for RFP preparation and issue, around 4 weeks for vendor responses, and 2–3 weeks for the first evaluation round. Final selection timing varies by retailer, scope and stakeholder availability.
